How Do I...?
It is normal to have "how to" questions when getting to know a new system. We have gathered the most common questions we receive on a regular basis and are developing a Tutorials section on the IBTechSolutions website.
In addition, a new "how to" will be featured in each monthly newsletter. This month's feature is how to create a new article in Joomla! 1.5.
To add new content to your website you must create a new article. After you log into your website's Administrator

Open the Article Manager - You can access the article manager by clicking on the Article Manager button on the Administrator home page or rolling over the Content button on the Top Menu and clicking on Article Manager |

Click on the New button in the top right corner of the Article Manager |

Enter the following:
- Title – As it will appear. Viewer will see this.
- Front Page – Click Yes to have the article show on the Home Page, otherwise leave it as No
- Section – Select Uncategorized or FAQ depending on if the item is for an FAQ.
- Category – This drop-down will populate based on the Section you selected. Select the correct category for the topic.
- Text – In the large, open text box at the top of the page enter the text that should appear on the website.
